The solidarity song “Baba Said” went viral during the revolution in Iran, allowing her to combine her music with activism, which she considers a duty and a privilege. On her debut album “Grown Up”, released March 15th2024 via Ladies&Ladys label, Mina Richman confronts growing up. With much honesty, she returns to her childhood and processes conflicting parents, cultural uprooting and the social as well as her personal dealings with her body.
